UK-Kirkwall: machinery for mining, quarrying, construction equipment

Supply and delivery of wheeled loading shovels and a 360 excavator.
Orkney Islands Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and
experienced contractors for the supply, delivery and commissioning of two
(2) x wheeled loading shovels and one (1) x 360 excavator to Cursiter
Quarry, Firth, Orkney.
— Two machines of between 17.5 and 20 tonne wheeled loading shovels with a
3 cubic meter bucket capacity. Both loaders will be general purpose
buckets but one with teeth and one cutting edge bucket,
— 360 degree tracked excavator of 29 to 33 tonne range.
All equipment supplied must be able to operate with current machinery.
Delivery and all on-site installation and commissioning completed by 16
March 2012. A full description of the Council's requirements is set out in
