IRL-Lifford: consultative engineering and construction services

The design of a replacement road bridge at Mullantieboyle, Glenties Co.
Donegal.
Tenders are sought from suitably qualified civil / structural engineering
consultants for the design of a replacement road bridge at Mullantieboyle
Glenties. The existing bridge which spans 16m accross the Owenea river is
critically damaged and requires replacement.
The replacement structure will tie into the existing road network and
shall be fully compliant with NRA DMRB and Eurocodes and all other
relevant design standards.
The Owenea river forms part of an SAC with qualifying interests that
include fresh water pearl mussels and salmon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full design of the
structure (preliminary, outline and detail), the statutory procedures and
approvals, preparation of tender documentation, tendering works,
supervising works and hand over.
The successful candidate will be appointed PSDP and required to engage in
various consultations with stakeholders in order to progress the works.
