The joint-stock company ZTS TEES Martinske strojarne is one of the biggest engineering companies in the Slovak republic. The company was established in 1949 in the process of industrialization. Its production plan and organization have been changed more times during the company existence.
The dynamic development of the company culminated in 1987. The company manufactured goods for more than 310 million USD, and the share of export was 140 million USD. The company coped with the problems of arm conversion after 1988, and because of it the company had to realized structural changes in production and organization.
The company dispose of highly qualified workforce.
The present-day production plan includes the serial manufacturing of agriculture mechanisms (agriculture tractors), diesel engines, building and earth moving machines, cooperation in earth moving military defense technique and other cooperation.
