ZPS-SLÉVÁRNA, a.s.
is one of the most modern foundries in Europe with nearly 80 years of history producing very complicated castings from grey and ductile cast iron, for machine tools, hot and cold forming, textile and other machines. Our technology meets all ecological standards and gives us the possibility to produce castings with high precision and practical value, which demonstrates the list of our customers - top european leaders in different branches. Our foundry is capable to cast the castings from 30 to 8 000 kg.
In existence since 1930, the ZPS-SLEVARNA foundry became part of the group in year 2000. Specialized in the casting of grey, cast and nodular iron parts, ZPS-SLEVARNA with 500 employees, is one of the European leaders in the production of cast components for machine tools. Not just chip-removing machines, but also presses, hammers and machines for working non-metallic materials. Only a small part of ZPS-SLEVARNA’s capacity is allocated to the other companies of the group: the largest part of its production is destined to customers outside the group and can be delivered raw, partially or completely machined to customer specifications.
A good number of the best known machine tools of European manufacture incorporate bases and other components cast and machined by ZPS-SLEVARNA. Extremely complex castings, including up to 50 cores, are produced in automated lines and are controlled in such a way as to allow the machines incorporating them to obtain certification by meeting the most stringent quality standards.
