Stork Turbo Blading produces blades of virtually any design and has longstanding relationships with all major European and North American OEMs.

We have and are producing blades and vanes for:
* Steamturbines
Forty years ago Stork Turbo Blading started as a blade manufacturer for Stork who designed steam turbines under the name Werkspoor Sneek.
Five years later, Stork Turbo Blading was also recognised as a reliable specialist manufacturer of blades for all other OEMs, including ABB, GE, GEC Alsthom, Siemens, Demag Delaval, Sulzer and many others.

* Gasturbines
Stork Turbo Blading has experience in the production of compressor or turbine blading for GE, Westinghouse, Siemens, Fiat and ABB types of gas turbines.

* Axial compressors, Expanders, Turbo chargers
Stork Turbo Blading have, over the years, gained considerable experience in the machining of exotic materials such as ferrous metals, titanium, nimonics, inconels and other nickel-based superalloys.

Stork Turbo Blading manufactures blades in a range of lengths from 10 to 1000 mm, either from forged or rolled-bar stock materials, rough and precision forgings, or cast materials.

Services

Stork Turbo Blading is experienced in the process of reverse engineering of Turbo Machinery blades.
This process requires that on receipt of a sample blade the first step to take is to determine the material, and define the manufacturing standard procedures that will be applicable.
Stork Turbo Blading is also in a position, when the opportunity presents itself, to advise the customer on certain improvements in the design and or materials of the reverse engineered blade. The objective being to improve the durability and or efficiency of the finished blade.
Our reverse engineering procedures guarantee that the blades will not only be a repeat of the original sample though will also be manufactured to the latest standards applicable within the industry.
