OEM product
Stork SP is the OEM of the RUB-dieselengine. This diesel engine has special features for application on board minehunters and submarines, where reliable operation under severe circumstances is of utmost importance.

The activities of Stork SP are concentrated on engineering, production, maintenance and after-sales service of diesel engines, transmissions and components. These activities are mainly based on products of own design (RUB-diesel engine) and on licences from original designers and manufacturers (RENK transmissions and MTU diesel engines).

Production, maintenance and overhaul
Stork SP builds new systems, but is equally at home performing higher echelon maintenance and overhaul work. Because we work for customers with high-quality products and systems, quality assurance is vital to us. Therefore the whole organisation is accredited to ISO 9001 : 2000 and AQAP 120.

The product groups are diesel engines, transmissions and components used in minehunters, submarines, tracked and wheeled vehicles and diesel locomotives. For these products we have well equipped workshops, engine and transmission test beds, logistic control system, warehouses and well equipped and modern offices

CIVIL MARKET
Stork SP is specialized in overhaul, repair and testing of diesel engines and transmissions. These activities are carried out for the defence market, but also for the civil market. The expertise of Stork SP is not only used to carry out maintenance and repair, but also diagnoses to advise the customer on maintenance. Currently the activities on the civil market are concentrated on repair, overhaul and testing of diesel engines installed on board diesel-electric locomotives of a Dutch cargo transportation company and in giving service support / manpower for several companies in a variety of activities.

LAND FORCES
To the power packs of the Leopard 2 main battle tanks that are being used in The Netherlands the highest echelon maintenance is being carried out.
It concerns the engines, transmissions and various components, like fuel injector pumps, brake discs, turbochargers, etc. If required or necessary diagnoses are being executed at our test beds.
Supplementary to revision and maintenance activities, at the request of and/or in co-operation with the customer, also technical investigations are being conducted. One may think of power pack performance with use of different types of fuel, new electronic developments in the field of engine and/or transmission control or surveillance.
Also investigations are being executed concerning maintenance intervals and the use of spare parts, which are being reconditioned by modern techniques with preservation of quality and life span. As conclusion of every repair engines and transmissions are being tested extensively at our test beds.

NAVY
The RUB 215x12 diesel engine is used on board minehunters and submarines. The engine fully complies with the stringent quality and operational performance standards required for these types of Naval application. The RUB diesel engine is operational on board vessels in use by the Navy of following countries:
• The Netherlands
• Belgium
• Taiwan
• France
• Pakistan

Stork SP provides the after sales service of the RUB diesel to ensure that all of these Navies can operate their engines for many years to come.
