SOBOWIDZ (SOBBOVITZ) founded in 1983 is a manufacturer of ornamental
and engineering castings (iron, aluminium, brass, bronze, zinc, magnesium), steel and aluminium constructions, wrought iron products and wooden goods.

Our collection includes garden, street, cafe & home lights (posts, brackets, lanterns), and furniture (chairs, armchairs, tables, stools, benches, bars, deck chairs, beds etc.; also in folding and stackable versions; table tops and sittings made of: solid wood, plywood, casted metal, metal sheet, plastic, wicker, upholstery, stone or glass), furniture accesorries (hinges, door handles, knobs etc.), unique and popular designs of Tiffany stained glass lamps with bronze and brass bases, industrial and residential fencing, balustrades, balusters, finials, door and window grates, ornamental window frames, fountains, hand pumps, vases, mail boxes, sun-dials, gazebos, weather vanes, bollards, litter bins, fire-places and its accessories, stoves, classical cast iron radiators, street clocks, tree protecting grids, sculptures, objects of art, reliefs, letters & numbers and other products for street, garden and interiors.

Under normal conditions of use our cast iron products have a life in excess of 100 years! Our company will replace any SOBOWIDZ cast iron product which suffers
structural failure under reasonable circumstances of wear or tear within this time limit. Besides that all our metal products are 100% recyclable.

DIE CASTINGS - CHILL CASTINGS - SAND CASTINGS
CAST IRON - ALUMINIUM - ZINC - BRASS - BRONZE - MAGNESIUM

IRON CASTINGS (ISO: 150, 200, 400-15,500) are moulded on moulding machines in boxes 40x70cm, 80x80cm & 80x100cm (weight up to 100 kg) or manually (weight up to 500 kg;
length up to 300 cm).

ALUMINIUM CASTINGS (AlSi12, AlSi12Fe, AlSi12Cu, AlSi12CuFe, AlSi10Mg, AlSi60Cu4, AlSi132; other alloys according toSAE e.g. A380 or ASTM or BS e.g. LM25) are made
on cold-chamber high pressure die casting machines (weight 0,05-2,5 kg),
on low pressure die casting machines, in gravity dies / chills (up to 50 kg open manually or by gravity die machines) or in sand (up to 100 kg; up to 250 cm long).

BRASS CASTINGS (CuZn39Pb2) are made on cold-chamber die casting machines, in chills
or in sand.Also centrifugal shafts and sleeves up to 800 mm diameter and lost-wax investment castings (art castings too).

Also: ZINC (ZnAl4 known as ZP3 / Zamak 3 or AG40A and ZnAl4Cu1 known as ZP5 / Zamak
5 or AG41A), BRONZE (e.g. SAE 660, CuSn10P, CuZn5Zn6Pb5, CuAl10Fe3Mn2,
CuSi3Zn3Mn), STEEL, MAGNESIUM & SILVER CASTINGS.

Casting cores are made with use of carbon dioxide, resins or Hot Box.
Steel shot blasting, glass or sand blasting.
Painting works (spray & dip painting, powder coating) and special coatings (Zn,Cr,Ni,Cd).
Heat and chemical treatment (T4,T5,T6,T7).
Castings patterns are made of wood, resins or aluminium.
Production of gravity dies and high pressure dies.
Machining & welding.Assembly. Constructions.
