Traditional production program of grey cast iron casts continues and is developed by privatization of the foundry by private company "SLÉVÁRNA - SZ-ŽANDOV spol. s r.o." (ltd)

The foundry employs 150 employees and it is situated on the total area of 39 thousand m2.

CASTS FROM GREY CAST IRON:

- material CSN EN 1561: EN-GJL-150, EN-GJL-200, EN-GJL-250 or DIN EN 1561
- sand casting
- cast single-part production with mass up to 800 kg (maximum frame size 1500 x 1500) a piece
- small series and series production with mass of 0.35 to 25 kg per piece
- assortment of usual machine industry metallurgy, cylinders and heads for cylinder machines and compressors, pulleys, bushings, grillages, and the like.
- special castings with higher accuracy demands, shell casting (Croning method) - e.g. for hydraulic distributors
- possibilities of stress relief and normalizing annealing, priming and part-way machining



CASTS FROM MALLEABLE CAST IRON:

- material CSN EN 1562: EN-GJMW-400-5, EN-GJMW-450-7 or DIN EN 1562
- sand casting on automatic frameless mould line (mould outside dimensions 508x406x150) and on frame mould line (450x350x105 - 170)
- small series and series production with mass of 0.30 to 15 kg per piece
- assortment of usual machine industry metallurgy, particularly insulator fixture casts for heavy-current electrical and power engineering
- possibility of heat zinc coating according to CSN EN ISO 1461
