General information
The Philips Lighting plants in Middelburg (Vitrite), The Netherlands, and Bielsko, Poland, are worldwide recognized as high-quality cap makers for the lighting industry. Both plants are part of the Philips Lighting Components organisation and they develop and produce caps for lighting applications.
Our key production technologies
Philips Lighting Middelburg and Bielsko are the world's number one suppliers of caps. We satisfy our customers from all over the world by offering the highest quality level, outstanding support and logistics, as well as continuous innovation. We produce the complete product range of caps, which are primarily used for applications such as CFL, GLS, Fluorescent lamps, Halogen lamps, Automotive, HID and Special lighting. Through many decades we have been able to build up a significant know-how in our key production technologies. These are:
