NAREX Zdanice Ltd., which has tradition stretching back more than 60 years, is today one of the biggest manufacturing organisations producing tools in the Czech Republic. It specializes in the production of taps of high-speed steels and extra high-speed steels (HSS and HSSE). The production programme presented shows a detailed survey of the standard products offered, i.e. hand taps, machine taps and nut taps corresponding to CSN, DIN and ISO standards, sets of thread-cutting tools made of high-speed steel (HSS) and tool steel (CS), circular screwing dies, circular die stocks, and also arbours for drill chucks. In addition to these standard products NAREX Zdanice Ltd. also produces special thread-cutting tools on request. The company has many years of experience in the production of thread-cutting tools, and is the largest manufacturer of these tools in the Czech Republic. Alongside this tradition the company´s guarantees of permanent high product quality including modern production technology and the work of qualified experts. History
The history of the company NAREX Zdanice Ltd. dates back to 1938, when the artistic tinsmith and metalworker Otakar Šmíd commenced the production of decorative objects made of non-ferrous metals in Zdanice under the name KOVODÍLNY. His enterprise developed successfuly, though the war prevented him from continuing along his chosen path, and the use of non-ferrous metals for exclusively war purposes resulted in the stagnation of production. In an effort to maintain production he began manufacturing taps in 1941, and later circular screwing dies.

The successful completion of privatisation in 1997, the introduction of a quality control system corresponding to EN ISO 9002 and its subsequent certification, and the introduction of effective organisational changes have transformed NAREX Zdanice Ltd. into a modern company, which declares its vision for the future to endeavour to expand tool production for sphere of demountable joints and care for the customers.
