Company description

The present company developed from POM in Barlinek fouded in 1951. At that time the company dealt with repairs and maintenance of tools and machines for agriculture. This kind of buisiness activity continued till the late 1980s. In 1989 a smithy was opened to provide service for mining industry. Then, as a result of communalisation of POM in 1990, the company was taken over by Barlinek commune council. In 1992 a metal products company called METPOL Ltd was created. Since 01.01.1999 METPOL Ltd. as METPOL-BARLINEK has been a member of HOLDING-ZREMB Gorzów S.A. capital group.
