HISTORY
Metal Progres specialises in high pressure die casting and machining medium sized aluminium alloy parts for the automotive, electrical and furniture industries.
The Company was founded in 1994 by a group of private investors. In 1996 Florence et Peillon, a French company bought 98% of the shares in Metal Progres and then in 1998 the remaining 2% .
Since then Metal Progres has been continuously expanding. The Company is certified to ISO 9002 and VDA 6.1. standards while ISO TS 16 949 certification is scheduled in 2003. In 2000 the company together with its Holding company, Florence et Peillon was bought by the EURALCOM Group and incorporated into the EURALCOM Group organisation. Besides the tradition in the French Automotive Market supplying in a new operational area in Central Europe is becoming progressively more attractive.
The automotive market makes up the majority of sales while the furniture business is growing in importance. In order to meet all customers requests and demands, customer project teams are regularly set up to co-operate on each of the customer oriented projects.
Each of the customer oriented projects is supported by the company R& D department , both in technology and tool design.
Being a member of the Euralcom Group is another challenge to improve the level of internal operations, inter group know-how transfer and marketing and sales support.
