Laura Metaal Eygelshoven produceert door middel van knippen, brandsnijden, plasmasnijden, persen, walsen, zetten, ponsen, machinaal bewerken en lassen. Alle benodigde gereedschappen worden in eigen huis ontwikkeld. Het productie pakket omvat vangrails, constructiewerk, profielen en componenten voor de zware voertuigen en kraanconstructie en speciale brandsnij producten.

Products

Trading:
Laura has an annual trading volume of about 250.000 ton of non prime steel. This volume is supplied by Corus Strip Products Ijmuiden and Corus Packaging Plus. Our main customers are large trading houses in Europe but also in Asia and the Middle East. This trading volume is mostly distributed from our locations in Beverwijk or Maastricht.

Decoiling:
The commissioning of a new decoiler in 2003 by Sundwig Kohler at our site in Maastricht has given Laura the ability to offer better quality for its current range of non prime material. Laura now also has the ability to decoil High Strength Steels (Qste 500 +) and can therefore offer its services to a different customer range.

Processing:
With the commissioning of a new HD Plasma cutter Laura Metaal completes its move from its location in Roermond to Eygelshoven. The current site in Eygelshoven now has a modernised machine park that can supply process services and products to different markets. Laura has the ability of shearing, flame cutting press braking, machining and welding. Other services like shot blasting and priming are also available on its premises. This gives the ability to offer short lead times at a competitive price.
