COMPRESSIVE CASTING
Pressure die casting is one of the progressive methods of exact casting with which our company produces castings of rather exact dimensions in big series. The essence of this technology is to fill the cavity of a steel die with molten metal under high pressure in special pressure die casting machines.
With this technology, parts from 5 grams till 10 kilograms of weight are produced of Al alloys according to DIN 1725/226, 1725/231, 1725/230 and 1725/239 standards.
The parts are supplied to automotive, elekctrotechnic and textile industries.
Molten metal is produced in melting ovens SIEMENS and warm keeping ovens ELIN. The molten metal is further treated with rectifying salts, degassing in Foseco FDU equipment. Filtration is standard as well.
From the molten metal, parts are cast in semi-automatic pressure die casting machines with closing force of 160 to 1350 tons, in automatic workplaces BÜHLER and in an robotised workplace equipped with a Kawasaki robot.
The castings are further trimmed in hydraulic trimming presses and machined in one and all-purpose machines.
The final surface treatment of the parts is ensured by roller washing in a longitudinal Rösler line, the parts can also be blasted in hanging and drum blasting machine OMGS.
We can also provide impregnation of raw and machined parts in the Maldaner impregnation line for our customers.
To ensure the quality of produced parts, the foundry has implemented the quality management system according to ISO and VDA standards.
CHILL CASTING
Gravity coquille casting is one of the technologies for casting non-ferrous metals. This method is used to produce parts in middle series. The castings are marked through high strength, solidity of material and better quality of surface than with parts cast into sand moulds. The produced parts can be further heat treated.
Low pressure casting is another method for casting parts with better quality of surface and thinner walls of the part
Coquille castings are produced form Al alloys according to DIN 1725/226, 1725/230, 1725/239, EN AC-42100 standards, of weight from 60 grams to 18 kilograms and size up till 830 mm in special coquille casting machines CGU 05-12, KLSU and in machines of own made. For low pressure casting, machines CNS 10.23 are used.
