Products
The production is split into the three major fields:
1) Tooling shop (+ design)
In the tool shop we produce mainly pressure casting dies, but also trimming tools, modelling equipment, special tools & fixtures.
We support the production as well as the design, with the use of the CAD/CAM graphic systems - Solidedge and the 3D system UNIGRAPHICS (possibility of importing files in STEP, PRT and IGES format)
The tool making itself is carried out on modern equipment with progressive machining technology (HSC MAHO DECKEL, triaxis planer Hurco, 3D CNC milling machine for carbon electrodes production, electro-eroding machines).
For checking and control of dimensional precision and quality, we use among others, tricoordinate (CMM) machines 2x WENZEL and DEA equipment.
The tools and dies are produced from highly tempered steel so as to prolong life-service.
The approximate sample turnover time is related to the complexity of the castings, and is from thee to six months. Presently we produce approximately 5-6 new moulds with adequate accessories every month, but this does depend on complexity.
2) Pressure casting shop
Our company is equipped with four gas and two electric furnaces. Material is standardly de-gassed, and a gas level is being evaluated.
We are capable of supplying pressure casting of weights from 5g up to 4 kg. Depending on the requirement of our customers, we can ensure the tightness of the castings at pressures of 1MPa-1.6MPa.
The finishing of the castings is done by varying methods on trimming presses, in vibrating drums (Rössler), by grit blasting (Disa) or sometimes manually (grinding operations, filling).
On customers' request we also carry out surface finishing with paint or eloxal/anodising processes.
The aluminium castings are produced on presses from the companies TOS/RTS (shot controlled), Buehler and Vihorlat Snina, with a locking force ranging from 250 to 750 tons.
The TOS/RTS machines are fully automated press machines (incl. shot control system, automatic feeding and robotics withdrawing).
Vacuum and squeeze casting processes to improve the inside castings' structure were sucessfully introduced.
For the inspection of the castings' structure, an X-ray machine Seifert has been installed.

3) Machining shop
On customers' request we also carry out the machining/grinding either on conventional machines, special dedicated or CNCs (10x CNC centers - Cincinnati, Okuma, Haas; 10x CNC lathes - OKUMA, Takisawa, Index, Haas
We also make partial subassemblies on some of our products.
Leakage tests (evaluating air drop) can be performed on request. We can ensure the impregnation according to the customers' specification.
