Kovohute Mníšek Company, a foundry Jablonec nad Nisou is a succession organisation of TTP Elitex Foundry Jablonec n. N. The owner of the foundry - Kovohute Mníšek is one of the biggest producers and distributors of aluminium alloys in Czech Republic. The main production programme of the company is pressure aluminium casting. As a additional programme we offer gravity die casting and low pressure casting. A wide variety of surface finish and handy machining of castings also belongs to our offer. The quality control is provided by the latest technologies based on ISO 9001 Certificate. For example we use X-ray machine by Seifert Company or Spectrolab for chemical composition checking of material. Our aim is to offer you a complete service in perfect quality and for a good price.

Technological possibility of producing of castings in our foundry

Pressure Casting
Pressure aluminium casting is the main production programme of our company. This technology is applicable for production of bigger series, it is accurate and it has a good surface quality. Our foundry uses nine pressure casting machines (Bühler, DEL and Vihorlat) with pressure power of 1600 – 6300 kN. Max. weight of casting is about 3kg.

Gravity Die Casting
As a additional programme we offer you a production of gravity die casting and low pressure casting. For low pressure casting we use Röperwerk and CNS casting machines. Gravity die casting production is performed by semi-automatic CGU or in a classic way.

Surface finish and machining
According to your wishes we can also offer you a variety of handy or machine surface finish works. For example: grinding, bore burnishing, blasting and polishing. A machining is also a natural part of our surface finish works and includes boring, turning and milling.
