Barbara Vos (1980, Emmen) graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, The Netherlands. After a year of travelling she established her own design studio
Barbara Vos, Interior ‘n Fashion.
She is working on a variety of different disciplines such as fashion, interior, furniture, products and paintings. Her work shows her passion for round shapes from the sixties, vibrant colours, curved lines and special materials. She uses new materials with old techniques or old materials in a new and innovative way. A lot of her designs are inspired by her childhood, making drawings with buttons on the floor at her grandmother’s house. As well as being innovative and eye catching, her ideas are practical and functional, aiming to solve the given problem.
