FIMES, joint-stock company, Uherské Hradište, is a subsidiary company of the joint-stock company MESIT Holding – group of 13 companies connected in terms of capital and technologies. All subsidiary companies of the holding reside in one modern integrated premises and are direct carriers of more than 50 year tradition of development and manufacture of aircraft appliances, radio communication measuring systems, computing machinery, printed circuits, precision castings, moulds, tools and precision engineering components.
FIMES, a.s. was founded in the beginning of 1993. The management and majority of employees are pursuers of successful work of the plants FOUNDRY and TOOL SHOP of the original home company MESIT a.s.
Production programme has continuously developed as regards both manufacture parts of FIMES towards the most exacting products in their particular production programmes:
In the FOUNDRY we produce the technologically exacting thin-section castings made of aluminium alloys and precision castings of steel and non-ferrous metals.
Currently, the production programme of the TOOL SHOP comprises especially the moulds for plastics procession and moulds for metal casting.
The products of FIMES, a.s. find application in qualitatively demanding lines of production such as aircraft, automotive, textile, and electrical industry, health service, optics, etc. Permanent attention is paid to quality assurance of all the processes and the organisation improving. From the year 1998 the company is certified in compliance with EN ISO 9002.
In the course of its manufacturing history, the company have gradually developed its export business activities and currently, it supplies its products to important customers in Germany, France, Austria, USA, Finland, Sweden, England, and Slovakia.
The company FIMES, a.s. is a modern enterprise with a long tradition and great experience. On the markets of the allied lines of production it is regarded as a renowned producer of precision castings, injection moulds and tools.
FIMES, a.s. includes two manufacturing plants, namely FOUNDRY and TOOL SHOP, which are connected as regards organisation with the management of the joint-stock company. FIMES, a. s. employs cca 187 employees (cca 60 in the tool shop, cca 110 in the foundry and 14 in the management).
As well as its own manufacturing section, each plant has an engineering office which interprets all technical and commercial aspects.
The management of the company ensures the operation and control of the whole company, the performance of all common economic, business and personal activities including liaison with customers and suppliers.
Management of the joint-stock company is carried out by the company director, the managers of the individual departments and plants, the head of the Technical Control Dept. and representative of quality management.
