Feferrum Ltd. was established in 1994. The exclusively Hungarian ownership and management consists of experts with more decades experience in Hungarian and international commerce of waste, who are thinking of long-term, balanced and competitive cooperation together with their young colleagues.
The company deals with collection and treatment of industrial, agricultural, population and certain hazardous waste, specialized in treating and processing iron, steel and non-ferrous metal waste.
It is one of the companies complying with the laws of Hungary and the EU and certified according to ISO 9002 quality assurance system and ISO 14001 environment control system.
Through its activity the collected waste is turned into the highest quality secondary raw material for metallurgy which is sold on the domestic and international market. The average yearly quantity of collected and processed utilizable waste is 50 000 tons including the followings:.
- All types of amortization and production waste,
- Dead stocks and structures for demolition,
- Large sized machine castings, body-works and household appliances,
- Iron scrap, chips, cinders contaminated with oil, chemicals, paint.
Most of our company's activity happens in the central premises in an area of 6,9 acres with complete infrastructure, in one of the oldest industrial areas of Budapest creating ideal opportunities for rail and road transportation completed with a wide ranged, modern technological background.
- Transport fleet: multilift, self-loading, containerized and dump truck.
- Container systems: stock of 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 m3 containers.
- Loading systems: mobile cram shell (Poclain 688,988), skid-steer loaders, truck-mounted cranes, fork-lift trucks, planted magnetic overhead bridge cranes, railway tractor.
- Processing devices: mobile clipping and bailing device, breking tower with falling weight, hidraulic hammer, bailing device, cylinder riddle and cutting torch systems - with planted and transportable containers.
- Calibrated measuring instruments: digital rail, road and mechanical bridge scales.
