Under this trade mark a very broad assortiment of tiles, inserts and different types of special castings is produced from cast basalt. The advantage of these products is high abrasion resistivity, chemical stability, small moisture absorptivity and hight compression strenght resistance. Its attractive appearence determines the use of tiles for the floors of interiors. especially in historical buildings. basalt tiles are indispensable for floors under very high stress in industrial plants. Basalt cylinders are very suitable for pneumatic and hydraulic stowings in mines and in power stations, transport of different abrassive materials. Special basalt castings-bends, branchings, T-and Y pieces, grate cylinders, jets, cyclons and other have replaced some pieces made from highly alloyed steels and increased the service life 5 to 20 times.
Besides the standard assortiment of tiles special tiles with anti-slip dressing are produced. Special "SKID-PAN" tiles for test tracks make up the most important section of the track, where Czech-made tiles are considered as EUropean standard for the anti-skid value of basalt surface, for the testing of brake-systems of cars and tires. BASSALT

Basalt is one of the hardest natural materials known to man and is worldwide for its longevity. Basalt as a neovolcanic rock is smelted in the gas furnace at a temperature of around 1280 °C and then cast into metallic or sand moulds at a temperature of around 1200 °C. Achieving uniform crystalline structure, the Basalt is annealed in a furnace for between 16 an 21 hours. With respect to Basalt's physical characteristics, it is ideally suited for Heavy industry, but since the mid seventies has been also widely used for interior and exterior decorative flooring tiles. For reasons of their natural and rustic look, Basalt floor tiles are used worldwide and predominantly in Europe, U.S.A. and Far - East.


ABRASSION PIPES

Abrasive resistant pipe lining of Cas Basalt and Eucor has been well proven over many years in the pneumatic and hydraulic conveying of bulk materials. Pneumatically conveyed bulk material can be conveyed upto 22 m/sec with Cas Basalt linings and 30 m/sec with Eucor linings. With hydraulically conveyed bulk materials including sludge and slurry velocities can be upto 2,2 m/sec and working pressure upto 4 MPa. Chain conveyers lined with either Cas Basalt or Eucor can be used where wet, sticky hot bulk materials are conveyed. Further, we can adsive that the use of Eucor materials can last four times longer then Cast Basalt, which is particularly useful in pipe elbows therefore extends the life of pipe line and combinations of Eucor bends and Basalt straights have been proven to be in many cases, the most economical cost effective sollution. Besides the standard items, listed our sides, other special shapes such as reducers, "T" pieces, "Y" pieces, breeches pieces, manifolds and square to round transition pieces can be made. We can supply complete lining for Bunkers, Chain Conveyors, Cyclone Separators, Chutes, Channels and Sluiceway for sludge and slurry. We can also provide the steel fabrication with external anticorrosion coating, to our specification or to an agreed specification in accordance with the customers requirements. Packing and shipping
