Demo and test centre

We are always looking for more effective, cheaper, simpler and better ways to develop our sorting solutions. To do so we have installed a demonstration carrousel sorter within our R & D centre. This demo is equipped with many different discharge stations and tray configurations. Because this demo is so versatile it's possible to test the sorting of every possible lightweight product at different discharge stations and infeed options.

Flatsorter in general

The ESF Flat Sorter comes in two versions: the Split Tray and the Tilt Tray Sorter. Both are proved solutions within its specific field of application for many decades.
Generally speaking, Split Sorters (also know as Bomb-bay sorters) and Tilt Sorters are used for the automatic sorting of relatively lightweight and flat items. Usually, these items are able to withstand a drop of a couple of feet. The items to be sorted are placed in a tray by means of one or more induction systems. Once the carrier is positioned above the destination the trays are opened. The content then drops flat out of the carrier and falls into the destination (box, chute, carton etc).
