The craft business, specialized in precision mechanics, was founded back in 1932 by Erich Uhe. In 1971 Hermann Strathmann sen. and Renate Strathmann, born Uhe, took over and continued the business in the footsteps of the company's founder. Succeeding Renate Strathmann in the position of managing partner with effect from Jan. 1 2003, Hermann Strathmann jr., a qualified mechanical engineer, is now running the family business in the third generation.
In the field of precision mechanics, we are producing everything from simple parts to the most sophisticated machined parts. As a specialized manufacturer for serial production, specimen, appliances, and testing equipment, we manufacture, among other products, special tools to customer specifications, casings, front panels and special tools to customer specifications - along with automation equipment, lathe work and milled parts. Our offer is rounded off by welded and sheet metal constructions as well as by partial or complete assembly work.
