ABOUT EKSTRAMETAL
“EKSTRAMETAL Döküm ve Izabe Sanayi Ltd.” has been started its activities at the beginning of 1987 in a small workshop such as 400 square meters area at “OSTIM” Industry Site, with a capacity of 500 tons per year. At the very beginning starting with an amateur spirit, but very soon EKSTRAMETAL became a well known firm with its best quality productions and hard efforts of workers and partners.
In acknowledgement of our hard cooperation of labor and knowledge we have accomplished a new plant at the “Ankara Organized Industry Region” in 1998, and we have moved to our new installation. In this new Installation we have a production capacity up to 3500 tons per year for producing gray, and ductile iron cast parts. The materials which have the net weight exceeds up to 2000 kgs. can be produced very successfully. Behind the mass production we also answer to our customers’ special orders. Our aim is to export fifty percent of our productions to the industrialized countries.
In the future, our aim is to reach total quality management (TQM) in daily foundry practice. We have gained DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate in March2001 by TÜV Südvest with the main principle “Our products must satisfy us before anyone else.”
