Company description
Drop-press s.r.o. was established in 1994 by four people (the current Company management) and a Czech company, Polak s.r.o..
Drop-press s.r.o. has production facilities in the town of Cáslav in Central Bohemia, 80 km east of the capital, Prague. (Drop-press -> map)
Throughout the time of its deveolpment, the Company has built two manufacturing plants:
- Plant D-P No. I - foundry
- Plant D-P No. II - finishing, shaping, tool-making shop
The two plants, adjacent to each other, together employ 150 people.
An important milestone in the Company's history was 1998. In this year the Company obtained certification for implementing and applying a quality control and assurance system in the manufacturing process "Production and Machining of Precision Light Alloy Castings" in accordance with the standard DIN EN ISO 9002 : 1994. One year later it was decided to expand to VDA 6.1

Drop-Press s.r.o., a commercial producer of AlSi castings made via the pressure casting method and a manufacturer of tools for this industry, it is a supplier to a number of major companies, firms and manufacturers in the Czech Republic and abroad.
