DESMO s.r.o. Limited Company – Lomnice nad Popelkou
The DESMO s.r.o. (Ltd.) was founded in 1991 as a company with inland capital investment. However, the production of steel structures has in the plant at Lomnice a more than 30-year old tradition based on supplies of steel halls and structures for agriculture.
In the last ten years the steel structures from Lomnice nad Popelkou have found various usage even in many different branches, they have been applied in the construction of production, storage and sports halls, stands, ice hockey stadiums, office buildings, technological and ecological facilities as well as bridges. Steel push benches for wood processing machines present a significant part of production.
The present annual production is increasing as compared to previous years and exceeds 4000 tons of steel structures. One half of the company´s production is exported to Germany, the remaining part present orders for domestic market. The company is able to cover the majority of domestic orders by the capacity of its own assembly centre.
The management of the DESMO s.r.o. limited company lays great emphasis on the high qaulity of their final products.This quality has been guaranteed not only by long tradition but also by the system of quality control of their production. The company possesses Great Welding Certificate (LGA Nürnberg), which entitles the company to supply Germany with steel structures in compliance with DIN 18800/7, further certificate (issued by VÚPS Prague) of the quality system in compliance with CSN EN ISO 9001 and also Great Certificate of Ability acc. to CSN 732601-Z2. All the employees who participate in welding of steel structures have passed the appropriate examinations. The above mentioned requirements for production quality are met by the technological equipment of workshops the basis of which is continuous blaster, welding machine and lacquering line with final drying. Since February this equipment has been completed by NC cutting and drilling line capable to process profiles up to 850 mm.
A designing office eqipped in a modern way which is capable to cover an order from a project to workshop documentation is a part of the company as well.
