CKD Blansko Strojírny has a rich historical tradition. The very beginning of its industrial output dates all the way back to 1698. Through many years, the original firm transformed in today customer-oriented company.

Yet more than seventy years CKD Blansko Strojírny specializes in water turbine production providing complete hydro-mechanical equipment for hydraulic power plants according to various specifications of customers.
The second considerable area of production are heavy duty vertical lathes. These lathes are used even by our own company helping with the production of rotation parts of water turbines. Such use considerably contributes to verification of their reliability, operation life and to the collection of experience and knowledge serving for their future development.
Our production facilities allow us to manufacture also machined weldments which are the third business area of our company.
