AXIS came into existence in 1993 as private limited liability company after the transformation of Czech economy. Since then AXIS participated in range of significant projects and grown into company with a significant presence in the Czech market for mechanical fabrication and erection services. The majority of AXIS workforce, including management and technicians were recruited from former state monopolies. The workforce has experience of operating in Europe as well as Near and Middle East giving the workforce valuable experience of working inside the Czech Republic and other markets.
AXIS' headquarter is located in the city of Hradec Králové, capital of Eastern Bohemia, a town linked historically with the industrial development in Bohemia, and well known for its tradition in engineering industries. Our activities are related to the historical industries of Eastern Bohemia and consist of the following:
- The installation of manufacturing machinery
- General repairs and relocation of machinery
- Refurbishment and modernising machinery
- Installation of Carbon and Stainless steel process piping to Czech and European standards
- Fabrication and Installations of process equipment and pressure vessels
- Fabrication and Erections of steel structures
- Diagnostic measurements of machinery
The company holds appropriate Czech authorisations to pursue all the activities cited above and provides for Preparation of design and technical documentation by specialist engineers. When required, Axis is able to project manage other contractors to provide services such as building, insulation, instrumentation and electrical works.
Besides its head office in Hradec Králové, the company has its own Manufacturing and Assembly Centre in Štetí. These premises are able to provide all manufacturing requirements to support complete projects as well as fabrication of special parts accordingly to customer's requirements. The activities of our company are connected with the regions all over the Czech Republic, as well as throughout Europe Union and other European countries. AXIS has worked in chemical, paper-making, wood processing and food industries. Large portion of Axis' work is in the power supply industries.. Recent contracts include erection works for the providers of desulfuration units installed at the main power plants within Eastern Bohemia.
AXIS manufactures and runs the firm within Quality Controlled environment to ISO 9001 and all our employees are committed to quality.
