Company description
AMAC landbouwmachines
___
Dunor Potato Group
Kverneland Group, a leading Norwegian listed agri implement producer, and Agrimac Holding from The Netherlands, a private Dutch agri implement producer, have agreed to join forces in the specific business area of Potato Machinery Technology. The two companies produce a complete line of potato mechanisation equipment under
leading brands such as Underhaug, Climax and AMAC.
Kverneland Group and Agrimac Holding have together formed a new company, DUNOR Potato Group B.V. with headoffice in 's-Heerenhoek, The Netherlands. The current distribution channels will remain as of today and will be reinforced where needed. All brand names will continue to be marketed and serviced through the existing dedicated dealer networks. Over the next coming years DUNOR will complete a full line of differentiated products -from potato planters to selfpropelled harvesters and storage equipment under the brandnames Underhaug, Climax and AMAC to the benefit for the respective dealer networks.
DUNOR will take over the full responsibility for previously sold, existing and new products, including spare parts distribution and service. DUNOR will of course for a considerable period have the opportunity to draw on the expertise and services from Kverneland Group, including spare part distribution. Key Kverneland Group personell will be employed by the new company.
The two companies are convinced that DUNOR will have the financial strength, experience, competence and product-range to become a serious challenge to the market leader in all markets. Ownership of the new company will be 2/3 to Agrimac and 1/3 to Kverneland Group.
