The Actuator Technology Company (ATC), located in Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands, is specialised in the manufacturing of highly compact hydraulic and pneumatic operated actuators for operating quarter turn valves. 20-years of in-house experience in valves and actuators is available to optimise your valve actuator system.
The ATC actuator has a revolutionary design that totally differs from the currently available actuator designs, like the scotch yoke type. Third party expertise has been utilized while designing the actuator. The innovative ATC actuator consequently consists of a performance tested and field proven design, suitable for more than 100 years of operation. Third party design and performance certification applies to the entire actuator range and, as a result, the ATC compact actuator is accepted by the major end users and contractors worldwide. The actuators can be considered to be extremely compact since the main actuator functions have been integrated into one design. The actuator parts have been given multiple functions, minimizing the quantity of parts. Using a compact design especially benefits applications where space is limited and restricted, like on topsides, FPSO turret areas, subsea PLEMS and manifolds. Expansion projects, upgrades, modifications especially benefit from using a compact design. Because of its reliability (SIL 2 / SIL 3 compliant), the ATC actuator is widely applied in topsides and subsea safety systems, like ESDV's, Riser-, import and export pipeline valves, SSIV's. The ATC actuators are manufactured, assembled and tested fully based on the ISO 9001-2000 quality procedures. A full quality control such is ensured during the different production stages.
